It's Okay

Thursday...that means tomorrow is Friday. The end of a very, very long week!

It's time again for another It's Okay Thursday linkup with Neely!

It's okay...

to be completely mentally and physically checked out of this week already

to spend 30 minutes after school rearranging desks...

...and then to come in the next morning and hate it

to have a divided household for the NC State/Duke game tonight

to really be looking forward to a long weekend...thanks, Washington and Lincoln.

to not do your grading because of that long weekend

to have no clue what you want for your birthday [thats in 9 days]

and tonight...it might just be okay

to go to bed at 8pm.

It's Okay...college basketball style

Hooray for Thursday! Last night was the first big Duke/UNC game of the season. It was in Chapel Hill, and Duke was coming off of an overtime loss to Miami...being from Durham, I look forward to seeing these games every single year. It's like a second Christmas! So, today I'm linking up for It's Okay Thursday...college basketball style.



It's okay...

...to take a nap after work in anticipation of staying up for the big Duke/UNC game.

...to admit that you actually went to bed after the first half of the game.

...to have nightmares that your team lost because of free throws.

...to be really relieved that you woke up to find out that you team did in fact, win [love Austin Rivers]

and... It's okay

...to wear your favorite Duke t-shirt to school to celebrate the win.

Okay, friends. Today is Thursday and you know what that means!

Today, it's okay...

...to forget to set your alarm, because apparently you'll still wake up, albeit 12 minutes late.

...to not wear makeup because of your failed alarm setting skills.

...to also not straighten your hair for the same reason.

...to be really excited about the birthday present you bought your mom!

...to really, really, really want it to be Friday.

and finally...

It's okay to not care about the Superbowl because your team isn't in it.

What I'm Loving

Today is Wednesday, folks...halfway through the week. Thank. Goodness. After this week we'll be preparing for two full weeks of school, followed by two short weeks. Of course I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW!

Today I'm loving...

...the beautiful weather we're having this week!

....the fact that I had time to shave my legs AND straighten my hair this morning.

...that February is FINALLY here! That means my mom's birthday, Valentine's Day, and my birthday all rolled into one :)

...speaking of Valentine's day, I'm loving that boyfriend and I are going to a really nice restaurant to celebrate this year! It will be difficult to beat last year, though.

...that I should be able to pay off my car next month, as long as everything goes as planned.
