Sometimes and Always

Tuesday....oh, Tuesday. Sometimes I think you are worse than your older brother, Monday. Ugh. He gets all of the attention for being horrible, and then you just sneak under the radar and SLAP me right in the face. Anyway, it's time for Sometimes and Always, hosted by the lovely Megan at Mackey Madness!

Sometimes I wish the week was four days long.

Always I realize that another day added to the weekend would just make me not want to go back work that much more.

Sometimes I wish I could cut off my nose so I didn't have any allergies.

Always I would miss all of the wonderful smells that we have!

Sometimes I wish I could just buy clothes to replace the dirty ones instead of doing laundry.

Always my wallet thanks me for not doing that.

Sometimes I don't want to go to the grocery store with boyfriend

Always I remember that every moment we spend together is cherished.

Sometimes I wish we could skip right past the rest of March and make it April 6 already.

Always it scares me when I remember how close we actually are to making it there. This year is flying by!

What I'm Loving

Hello, spring! Today is Wednesday, so you know what that means! Link up time with Jamie!

Today I'm loving...

The beautiful weather we're having! Currently, at almost 6:30pm, it is 82 degrees outside.

That mock EOG testing will be over tomorrow. I'm mentally and physically drained...and I'm not even taking the test! I can only imagine how these poor kiddos are feeling.

That today was my last day detention monitoring! I don't teach middle school...and there is a reason. However, we all still have to pitch in and help out with detention in the afternoons. I'm done with my 5 days!

That I still have girl scout cookies left in the freezer...I will enjoy them while sitting on the couch watching Big Bang Theory tonight :)

That this season of the Bachelor is FINALLY over. I'm addicted to the show (even though I think it's a terrible idea, in theory), but this season just didn't do it for me....I wasn't a fan of Ben and I wasn't a fan of Courtney. I stopped watching like 4 weeks ago. Bring on Emily and the Bachelorette!!!

and as always, I'm loving my sweet, sweet boy!

Sometimes and Always

I asked someone this morning "why is it only Tuesday?!"...if that doesn't tell you how my week is going, I don't know what will. Thankfully, this person reminded me that tomorrow is field trip day and after that comes Thursday. I suppose it could be worse! Sometimes I want to pull my hair out at the end of the day...

Always I'm really glad I have a job in the first place.

Sometimes I watch the ID channel and wonder what these people were thinking...

...always I remember that we don't know the whole story.

Sometimes I hate the spring because of my allergies...

Always I'm glad that it's getting warmer! I'll take warm and sneezy over cold any day.

Sometimes I wish we could forget the grocery store and eat out every night

...always I remember that we're probably saving a lot of money by not eating out too much!

What I'm Loving..

Today is one of those Wednesdays where I'm finding it difficult to love much...but that makes the things that I'm loving that much more special!

Today, I'm loving...

....that this is my 100th post! Congrats, little bloggy!

...that my birthday is in 3 days! Hooray!

...that it's only 5:15 and I'm already home in my pajamas, watching TV on the couch.

...that we FINALLY have a couch! A HUGE thanks to my family, who willingly let us borrow an extra one while we search for the perfect couch for our living room. It was getting frustrating sitting on two chairs all the time and never getting to snuggle up next to my love.

...that it felt like spring outside today! It's still 70 degrees right now :)

...that I finally fell victim to my craving and went to Bojangles after work. I got something light so that I didn't ruin my dinner, but it definitely satisfied my craving.

...that I've finally finished the Hunger Games trilogy. I can NOT wait for the movie to come out!!!!

and as always, I'm loving my wonderful boyfriend

Now I'm off to enjoy the rest of my Wednesday night...only two more days left in the week! :)

Sometimes and Always

Happy Tuesday, ya'll! Today is a pretty low key Tuesday...the beef stew is on the stove cooking away, dishes are washed, most of the laundry is done, and nothing good is on tv. That's very unusual for a night in the middle of the week around here! So...it's time for Sometimes and Always, where I link up with Megan at Mackey Madness!

Sometimes I want to give soft drinks up because I know I'll lose weight.

Always I go about 3 days and go right back to my old habit!

Sometimes I want to sleep an extra 20 minutes in the morning.

Always I'm too vein to go to work without a shower.

Sometimes I wish I could have a house cleaner.

Always I know I wouldn't be satisfied unless it was done MY way.

Sometimes I want to punt the cat across the yard for clawing our NEW couch.

(this seems to be a reoccurring theme...gotta do something about that).

Always I know I would miss him.

I'm going to veg out on the couch and watch TV while we're waiting for dinner to be finished...enjoy your Tuesday! :)

Random...

A few random thoughts for today....fashioned into a beautiful bulleted list for you (is bulleted even a word?).

• We're supposed to get some snow/ice for the first time all winter today...and of course, we have the day off tomorrow. Why couldn't it be during a full week? I suppose I should be thankful that we might see it at all!
  
• Grocery shopping bringing in the groceries is difficult when you're by yourself...especially when your driveway is a hill. Usually I accompany boyfriend to the store, but he has a meeting today so I had to brave mother nature and head to the store alone. I was out of breathe by the time I had made 3 trips in with the groceries!
  
• I'm eating "pasta sides" for lunch. Typical single girl lunch. Except I'm not. I hate weekend business meetings. I used to love these things when I was a kid.
  
• I really don't want to plan today--but then I know that I won't want to do it tomorrow either, so I might as well get it out of the way today.
